Mauka Shirts is a family owned and operated business in South Kona on the island of Hawai'i. Established in 1975, our grandmother, Roberta Dinson, opened Mauka Shirts with a goal of combining her love for fashion with her love for her culture. She started with her first location in Kealakekua ranch center and slowly grew adding two more locations in Kainaliu, and Keauhou. After her passing in 1993, Mauka Shirts took a hiatus, but now we are back! Under the guidance of her two eldest grandchildren, Mauka Shirts hope to bring her vision back to life of perpetuating the Hawaiian culture through creative expression.
